SYNTHETIC 2-CYCLE OILS: INJECTOR AND 100:1

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils are superior quality lubricants which provide maximum protection and outstanding performance in all two-cycle gasoline engines. 

Maximum Wear Protection

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils are high film strength oils that virtually eliminate metal to metal contact so piston scuffing is prevented and wear is reduced. The high lubricity of AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils reduces friction so operating temperatures are controlled and maximum engine performance is achieved.

Reduced Engine Deposits

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils contain top performing additives which have been tested and proven to minimize high temperature deposits. These oils resist oil breakdown from heat so they do not form gum, varnish, sludge or sticky deposits. Spark plug fouling and excessive carbon build-up in the combustion chamber, exhaust port and ring area are greatly reduced. In addition, the clean burn characteristics and lean mix ratios reduce smoke and exhaust emissions.

Prevents Rust and Corrosion

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils contain special rust and corrosion inhibitors, providing excellent off-season storage protection.

Outstanding Low Temperature Performance

Both AMSOIL Synthetic Injector Oil and 100:1 Pre-mix Oil mix readily with fuel even in low temperatures. However, AMSOIL Injector Oil with its -45°F pour point and SAE #4 miscibility and fluidity rating, is better suited for severe cold. It is recommended for use in injector systems as well as 50:1 pre-mix. Also, AMSOIL injector oil will help ease starting because it does not solidify or get gummy in the motor which allows it to turn over more freely.

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS - ATC 100:1 PRE-MIX

AMSOIL Synthetic 100:1 Pre-Mix 2-Cycle Oil (ATC) is recommended for all water-cooled and air-cooled pre-mix applications. A mix ration of 100:1 is recommended for normal duty service in applications such as motorcycles, outboard motors, snowmobiles, weed eaters, lawn mowers and chain saws. For "severe service" applications, richer mix ratios of 50:1 to 80:1 are recommended. These include racing motors and hot operating workhorse motors that continuously run for extended periods of time.

AMSOIL Synthetic 100:1 Pre-Mix 2-Cycle Oil is recommended for all pre-mix applications specifying TC-W3, API TC and  JASO FC. It is recommended for use with gasoline fuels only, and is not recommended for oil injection systems.

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS - AIO INJECTOR OIL

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Injector Oil (AIO) is recommended for use in all summer and winter two-cycle injector applications and for pre-mix applications at 50:1 mix ratios. Use AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Injector Oil wherever TC-W3 or API TC oils are specified in water-cooled or air-cooled motors. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Injector Oil is recommended for all two-cycle injector applications, including outboard motors, snowmobiles, motorcycles, ATVs and personal watercraft. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Injector Oil is compatible with and recommended for two-cycle applications using catalytic converters.

AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Injector Oil is compatible with other synthetic and petroleum TC-W3 type oils and may be mixed with them. It is recommended for use with gasoline fuels only.

MIX RATIOS

The mix ratio for AMSOIL 100:1 2-Cycle Oil is as follows:

• 1.3 oz. oil per 1 U.S. gallon gasoline
• 0.34 oz. oil per 1 liter gasoline
• 8 oz. oil per 6 U.S. gallon gasoline

For AMSOIL Injector Oil, mix at 50:1 mix ratio in either pre-mix or oil injection systems.
